Believe us, an aircraft of this size managed it – and the somewhat unsettling video is now here to prove it.

It is thanks to a Reddit video that this footage has now been unearthed from Farnborough in 1994.

And the end result – which you can see for yourself in the video above – is as physics-defying as it sounds, as it appears to hover in the air.
