German engineering has met Italian design, with the incredibly beautiful $3.5 million Capricorn 01 Zagato supercar.

Famous for its eye-catching designs, Italian company Zagato teamed up with German engineering firm Capricorn to create the amazing Capricorn 01 Zagato, recently revealed in Paris.

This followed on from the first model shown off in green, and this bright yellow example is even more eye-catching and closer to the final production version.

With American power under the hood, the 01 Zagato is a unique blend of German engineering and Italian design, and deliveries are set to commence later in 2026.

The new Capricorn 01 Zagato is a striking supercar

Capricorn revealed the first supercar in a Verde Knokke green color.

This new 01 Zagato, however, is more eye-catching, thanks to the Giallo Sole yellow.

Matched with the sharp blue suede upholstery inside, it’s certainly not an easy car to miss!

Capricorn is the German engineering firm behind it, and this is their very first supercar.

Zagato’s design is bold and impressive, the car looking like a blend of Lamborghini Miura and Ford GT.

The double bubble roof and almond-shaped headlights are clear Zagato design traits.

As well as these, we can see some aggressive aero, plus gullwing doors and flying buttresses.

Step inside the supercar, and you will see an incredible interior.

An analog interior gives the supercar a retro feel

Considering how complex modern supercars are, the interior of the Capricorn is pleasingly analog.

Firstly, it looks like it is straight from the 1960s.

There are proper dials, a gated manual shifter, and a round steering wheel.

That final point might seem insignificant.

However, modern steering wheels can come in all sorts of shapes.

Add in the rotary dials, and it completes the retro look.

In addition, the mix of blue suede and carbon fiber contrasts very well.

Under the hood, the Capricorn has a mid-mounted 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine.

Sourced from Ford, it produces 900HP and 738lb-ft of torque.

The manufacturer says the car will have a top speed of 224MPH and a 0-62MPH time of just under three seconds.

Just 19 of these cars will ever be made, and each Capricorn 01 Zagato has an asking price of $3.4 million (before taxes).

This could be one of the cars to keep an eye on in 2026.
