The gold Rolls-Royce Dawn from West Coast Customs will take part in this year’s Gumball 3000 rally, and it is already attracting attention.
The convertible has been wrapped entirely in reflective gold foil, covering the body, grille, wheels, and the Spirit of Ecstasy.
Rolls-Royce ended production of the Dawn in 2023, but the car continues to be a popular choice for tuning projects.
This latest version is expected to be one of the most eye-catching entries on the rally route from Istanbul to Ibiza.

Gold Rolls-Royce enters Gumball 3000
West Coast Customs has given the Rolls-Royce Dawn a wrap that leaves no detail untouched.
The grille, the multi-spoke wheels, and even the hood badge all share the same gold finish.
A decal confirms the car’s role in the Gumball 3000, an event that mixes exotic cars, celebrity drivers, and international routes.
Since its launch in 1999, the rally has become known for entries that favor spectacle as much as performance, and a gold Rolls-Royce fits that tradition.

Inside, the Dawn keeps its factory-fitted white leather interior.
The powertrain remains unchanged, with the 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 producing 563 horsepower and 605 pound-feet of torque.
The Black Badge version increases output to 593 horsepower and 620 pound-feet.
Both can accelerate to 62 mph in under five seconds, with top speed capped at 155 mph.

These figures underline why the Dawn still attracts attention even after production ended.
The gold Rolls-Royce will cover thousands of kilometers during the rally, which tests endurance as well as presentation.
Gumball 3000 routes typically span multiple countries in less than a week, requiring both reliability and comfort.
The Dawn was engineered for long-distance cruising, making it a suitable choice despite its controversial exterior.
Dawn stays alive in tuning culture
Although the Rolls-Royce Dawn and its coupe sibling, the Wraith, were discontinued in 2023, both remain regulars in custom garages.
Their mix of size, styling, and V12 power gives tuners a strong base for standout builds.
West Coast Customs is among the companies keeping the model in the public eye, while others such as Mansory continue to experiment with bold interpretations.

Rolls-Royce itself has shifted focus to the fully electric Spectre, marking the brand’s future direction.
Even so, the gold Rolls-Royce Dawn built for Gumball 3000 demonstrates how the model continues to find relevance beyond the production line.
Its presence on the rally ensures the Dawn remains visible in both the tuning scene and luxury performance culture.
