At first, people thought that Jeff Bezos had the largest superyacht in the USA, but another tech billionaire has a new sea vessel that seems to even larger.
No, it’s not Mark Zuckerberg’s $300 million superyacht, but something else entirely.
The new largest superyacht in America is owned by Sergey Brin, the billionaire co-founder of Google.
It is called Project Ali Baba, a luxury sea vessel worth $450 million.

The largest superyacht in America
With the purchase of Ali Baba, Brin has become the proud owner of the largest superyacht in America.
It measures 466 feet surpassing Bezos’s 416-foot superyacht by a good margin.
Similar to Zuckerberg, Brin also bought his superyacht from sanctioned Russian businessmen.
Project Ali Baba was originally commissioned by Russian billionaire Leonid Mikhelson, who later sold it to Brin
The sea trials for the yacht are finally finished and the tech billionaire may take its delivery by the end of the year.
Sports billionaire Shahid Khan also owns a 400-foot-long megayacht, that is also made by the same shipyard.
Project Ali Baba
Made by renowned shipyard Lürssen, Project Ali Baba is their largest superyacht yet.
The construction of the vessel started in 2019.
It launched prematurely in December 2023, due to a technical failure at the dock gate in Lürssen’s Bremen facilities.
Set to be the largest superyacht in America, the Ali Baba can accommodate 24 guests in 12 staterooms.
The vessel requires a 45-person crew to serve the guests.
It also features two helipads (front and back), a beach club, and multiple swimming pools.
However, it’s still shorter than some of the other megayachts in the world.
The owner of the yacht, Brin is known to enjoy outdoor activities like skating, skiing, gymnastics, and even trapeze.
So a superyacht like Project Ali Baba is the perfect addition to his thrill-seeker life.
