Ed Westwick’s love of cars includes Mercedes Maybach and Rolls-Royce

Actor Ed Westwick is arguably most well-known for playing the role of Chuck Bass in the TV series Gossip Girl, where he played one of the Upper East Side’s richest teens with luxurious taste and often lacking morals.

And, well, it seems his expensive taste has even transferred into real life, with the star proving that he’s just as much of a gearhead as the rest of us.

Ed Westwick’s love of cars spans many brands, including Rolls-Royce and even Williams Racing.

In fact, the star is a Mercedes fan, too, partnering with the brand on the Merceedes-Maybach and showing fans around one of the V8 engines in true, suave Chuck Bass style.

After all, we can’t forget his classic line of: “Just so you know, there are a few things that I consider sacred. The back of a limo is one of them.”

Speaking of Ed Westwick’s love of cars and staying close to his roots on the Upper East Side, he’s also been spotted with his eyes on a Rolls-Royce and has taken a ride in several, which he’s shared on Instagram.

The actor is an F1 ambassador

Yes, that’s right – it seems that Ed’s love of cars in both Gossip Girl and White Gold has inspired his love of the car game too, directly to the track.

The actor is an F1 ambassador and has had some cool opportunities to get up close and personal with the sport, from pit stops to pole position.

Ed has attended many Grand Prix and was most recently spotted at the Silverstone race track as well as the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.

Now, we’re used to many celebrities having a keen interest in cars, with many splashing their cash on rare rides and attending racing events.

Take Orlando Bloom, for instance. He travelled a whopping 5,500 miles to LA and dropped $170k on a luxury eco EV.

Some stars keep it casual, though, like British tennis novice Jack Draper, who still drives his teen car.

Take a look at Ed in action below, and try not to get too envious.
