It may be one of the most unlikely collaborations of 2023, but it’s thrown up some sick creations.

A high-octane collaboration between Gran Turismo and Bulgari has seen the pair join forces to create a slick concept hypercar – the Bulgari Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo.

That’s not all, though, as the unlikely pairing has also created two limited-edition watches – the Bulgari Aluminium x Gran Turismo Special Edition 2023 chronographs.

Kicking off with the watches – they’re special-edition versions of Bulgari’s Aluminium 41mm sports chrono, only with GT detailing.

One watch (ref. 104006) has a yellow dial with black accents, while the other watch (ref. 103893) features an anthracite dial with yellow elements.

Both, however, pick up on those ’90s Italian GT car dashboards.

Speaking of watches and dashboards, check out the Rolls Royce La Rose Noire Droptail, which has a stunning timepiece sitting in the dash.

Back to Bulgari: they also have numerals in the GT font, some special case back engravings, and a tachymeter – a first for the ‘Aluminium’ line since it relaunched in 2020.

The Bulgari Aluminium x Gran Turismo Special Edition 2023 chronographs are limited to 1,200 pieces of the anthracite dial and 500 pieces of the yellow dial, both priced at $8,400 each.

Want more supercar-inspired watches? The Bugatti Smartwatch Ceramique Titane Edition ought to scratch that itch.

As for the Bulgari Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo concept car – it reflects the materials and design elements of the watches.

The body is made of satin-finished aluminum, the lower body and technical sections are made of carbon, and black rubber protects exposed areas.

The lines that form the design of the cockpit and wheels are also taken from the straight and round aluminum case shape and the screw-fastened articulated bracelet.

On the inside, the cockpit features aluminum, black rubber, and anthracite-colored Alcantara with yellow accents.

Both the watches and the concept car were designed by Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, senior director of the Bulgari Watch Design Center.

If you were to buy one of the watches, you’ll be able to obtain the Bulgari Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo concept car.

This can be test-driven in Gran Turismo 7 in advance through a software update that will be released at a later date.

If you’d like to see the concept car in the flesh you can do so, as it’s on track in the Spanish city of Barcelona this week during the Gran Turismo World Series.

A self-confessed gear head, we wonder if Tom Cruise will add the watches to his incredible watch collection.
