This is the moment a Gulfstream G700 executed a stunningly smooth takeoff.

Footage of the $80 million jet was shared to YouTube by Matt’s Aviation Channel.

It was filmed at Bern Airport in Switzerland and has racked up more than 11,000 views so far.

Described as the ‘ultimate aircraft for those who refuse to compromise’, this video makes it clear to see why.

The Gulfstream G700 takes flight

In the description for the video, Matt wrote; “What an eye-catching livery!

“The aircraft is known for its record-breaking speed, impressive range, and opulent comfort.”

You can say that again.

If it’s good enough to be flown in by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, you know it’s good.

The billionaire was spotted in his $80 million Gulfstream G700 private jet in LA.

Back to the video and the plane reaches speeds of Mach 0.925, which is almost as fast as the speed of sound.

To put that into perspective, that’s 710mph (1142km/h).

Not only is that enough to take you anywhere in the continental United States, but its range of 7,500 nautical miles makes it ideal for international travel.

It’s no wonder that the G700 broke two speed records in one day.

The first took off from Savannah, Georgia, and landed in Doha, Qatar, 13 hours and 16 minutes later.

The second was from Doha to Paris, which was completed in 6 hours and 15 minutes.

The internet reacts to the magnificent takeoff

Aviation fans were obviously impressed with the G700’s range.

One commenter said: “Just one word – spectacular.”

Another gushed: “What a beauty, that is one stunning jet.”

Superlatives and the words ‘stunning’, ‘beautiful’, and ‘gorgeous’ were thrown around a lot.

As often happens when a stunning takeoff is witnessed, as was the case with this Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
