These hidden American sports cars from the 1990s, produced by Chevrolet and Ford, just broke free from a UK barn find after being hidden for over 30 years.
YouTube channel Auto Funk found the cars hiding away in the barn, in various states. They explained they were parked up 30 years ago and haven’t moved since.
The barn they were found in was warm and dry, and with a roof over the car’s heads, there was no UV exposure to damage the paintwork.
One question the YouTuber had, however, is whether or not he’d go back home with one of these classic American sports cars.

First up in the barn is a fantastic Ford Mustang GT 5.0 V8.
This is from the fabled Fox-Body generation of the muscle car.
Despite it being very clearly covered in a lot of dust, it looked to be in remarkably good condition.
The interior had survived quite well, too.

Even if there was a little bit of mold that would need dealing with.
After the Mustang, the YouTuber moved on to another part of the building.
It was here they found a stunning Chevrolet Corvette just parked up on its own.
This Corvette, like the Mustang, was dusty, but it had also survived in excellent condition.
It is a C4 Corvette, built from 1983 to 1996 and widely regarded as one of the best Corvettes ever made.
This one has been preserved in amazing condition, and like the Mustang, it was a bit of a time capsule.
A look under the hood showed the engine was in one piece and complete.
That meant there was a good chance it would fire up again.
As a result, the Corvette barn find became the biggest focus throughout the video.
The YouTubers were able to get all the lights working, including the cool pop-up headlights at the front.
While the engine did not turn on fully, it was able to crank nicely.
That was a strong indicator that there was still plenty of life left in it.
After mulling it over, the YouTubers decided to take the Corvette back home to attempt to give it a new lease of life.
Having already worked on a legendary C4 ZR1, there is every chance this C4 Corvette will find its way back onto the road.
