This Lamborghini Murciélago in the UK has already done 300,000+ miles.
That’s unheard of, partly because it’s a supercar, but also the Murciélago is famously a little uncomfortable and not super easy to drive.
But there are a couple of things worth noting.
Including something that might surprise most people.

It’s always refreshing to see people who actually drive their supercars
It’s sort of refreshing to see supercar owners actually using their cars.
Most supercar owners are collectors: they buy them, park them in an air-conditioned garage, and leave them there for years before they ‘flip’ them.
We’ve seen cars changing hands with three-digit mileage after decades, which sounds a bit unnatural.
But some people actually use them.

Aside from the Lambo you see here, there’s a famous Ferrari Enzo that’s done over 100,000 miles.
Another Ferrari owner – this one owns a 458 Italia – has done 242,000 miles.
But the title goes to a Ferrari 308 with over 250,000 miles on the clock.
How this Lamborghini owner ended up putting over 300,000 miles on it
Putting hundreds of thousands of miles under the belt of a Lamborghini Urus – a comfortable SUV – isn’t the same as doing it with a Lamborghini Murciélago, which is a brutal supercar.
It is, in fact, so brutal that the range-topping version is actually banned in the US.
But there’s a very good reason why this particular Lambo, nicknamed SG54 LAM – simply because that’s the license plate – has driven so many miles.

As the guy behind the Supercar Driver YouTube channel explained, it was used by EVO magazine in the UK as a long-term test car.
So basically for most of its life, this Lambo was – as crazy as it sounds – a company car.
Obviously, they had to be pretty strict when it came to maintenance, but the staff treated it as a company car in that they actually drove it.
We all know the drill with company cars: you drive them, and you don’t really worry too much about their ‘health.’
