This homemade hearse is powered by a Rolls-Royce jet engine.
Built in a tiny backyard garage, this beast can go from 0 to 70mph (112km/h) in an instant.
But because of that engine thrust, don’t expect to be able to stop quickly.
Besides its incredible speed, the hearse has a roar that’ll leave you shaking.

Meet the Rolls-Royce jet-powered hearse
Because it’s powered by a Rolls-Royce Viper turbojet engine, it’s louder than anything you’ve heard, even when idling at 40 to 42 percent power.
In a video by YouTuber Adam Beard, the owner Richard Wilby took the jet engine to 50 percent power and the sound was deafening.
“By the time you get to 100 percent, you really know about it,” Wilby said.
Built in the back of a Vauxhall Omega, the hearse has a brand-new tongue-in-cheek name; ‘Dead Fast Funeral Services’.
Thankfully, it’s not actually used for funerals.
Posted to YouTube by Twin Engine Corsa, he said it was impossible to describe the feeling it gave you.
“It’s a tornado, I’ve never had this feeling ever in any vehicle I’ve ever been in,” he said.
Just like this Porsche 928 powered by a Boeing T50 Turboshaft helicopter engine, the hearse is clearly a beast.
When Wilby found the jet engine on eBay, he said he didn’t quite know what to expect.
But when he fitted it to the hearse, he was pleasantly surprised.
“I wasn’t expecting it to start, but it did,” he said.
“When I took it to about 55 percent, it started to creep along, then it was 50 miles an hour, then suddenly 70 miles an hour.
“It took some time for the breaks to work too so it was a bit scary.”
The hearse can go from 0 to 70mph in an instant
Describing his experience, YouTuber Beard described the hearse as ‘pure insanity’.
“Imagine your wildest adrenaline build-up, your brain goes silent,” he said.
