Meet Jeff Bezos’s yacht – Koru

Jeff Bezos has figured out a way to spend his well-earned cash, and it’s mostly on superyachts.

One of the biggest in his collection is Koru, and with the beam sitting at 17.2m tall, it would certainly take center stage at any harbor or port.

Manufactured by Oceanco, the yacht was delivered in 2023 and even has a support vessel, the 75m Abeona.

But what makes it so special?

Well, the yacht features special architectural and design elements like a midnight blue hull and natural wood tones, with Oceanco labeling it as ‘the largest sailing yacht in the world’.

On board elements include three jacuzzis and a swimming pool, alongside the ability to host a reported 18 guests and up to 40 crew members.

The superyacht can also reach a top speed of 17kn and cruise at 15kn, proving it packs a punch in the water too.

However, as you can imagine, such a vast vessel isn’t cheap to maintain and run, with some sources citing that it costs Jeff Bezos a reported $25,000,000 each year.

Some even explain it is closer to $30,000,000.
