The future is finally here, with the iconic PAL-V Liberty flying car making its way to some of the world’s most prestigious car and lifestyle events.

So what is so special about this car that makes it so iconic?

Well, for starters it was the first flying car to combine driving and flying capabilities.

PAL-V Liberty flying car

The PAL-V Liberty is scheduled to show up at three major automotive events in Europe.

The reason it is so famous is because it was the first car to combine both driving and flying capabilities.

Unlike other flying cars it is not an eVTOL, but a gyroplane combined with a traditional car.

Since it is a two-seat fly-drive aircraft, the PAL-V Liberty requires a complex, dual certification.

Earlier this year, a Dubai-based aviation company teamed up with PAL-V, a Dutch business, to introduce the groundbreaking Liberty flying car to the Middle East and Africa.

See it in action

Those who want to see the flying car in action can also do so at Sweden’s luxurious Aurora-Scandinavian Concours.

It is known as the most luxurious car and lifestyle event in the region.

The event will take place from July 5 to July 7 in Norrviken.

It is a beautiful location in the center of Båstad – careful now – in Sweden.

After that, the PAL-V Liberty will make its way to the exciting JACK’S Racing Days event at the TT Circuit in Assen, The Netherlands.

Visitors will be able to see a highly-anticipated demo of the car, just like the Xpeng X2.

Performance specs for the PAL-V Liberty

In terms of performance, the Pal-V Liberty features a 1,315 km (817-mile) range on the road and a 500 km (310-mile) range in the sky.

This range can be increased even further by just doing one fuel stop.

The Pal-V Liberty flying car is designed to reach a maximum height of 11,000 feet (3,350 meters) in the sky.

It can also convert into a regular car in just a few minutes before speeding at 100 mph (160 kph) on the road.
