And he turned it into an adventure-ready camper pickup.
WrapZilla took on the project to transform the Toyota Hilux.
And the end result is absolutely brilliant.

So, who is the famous Indian actor in question?
Well, it turns out that the person in question is Prakash Raj.
In case you are unaware, Prakash Raj is a pretty big deal.
The Indian actor has won multiple National Awards in his home country.
He is renowned for his diversity across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi films.
But Raj is also equally well-known for his love of all things on four wheels.
But what sets the actor apart from the rest is his love for customization.
When he gets a new car, Raj tends to get it customized almost immediately.
And his latest purchase is clearly no exception.
Because itโs just been customized, and a video of the work was shared by Wrapzilla on their Instagram page.
Wrapzilla has customized multiple vehicles for Prakash Raj in the past.
And this Toyota Hilux is the latest to get a reimagination.
Toyota Hilux reimagined as a camper
The most striking part of the work is the nature of the truck itself.
Because it appears to have been converted into a camper pickup.
The rear bed of the truck was enclosed, and several changes were made to reinforce the structure from the inside.
In the video, the Indian actor can also be seen taking measurements of the metal frame for the roof.
He is clearly very heavily invested in the work, as he can be seen in deep discussions with the Wrapzilla team.
The end result of the work is pretty spectacular.
Not only is it visually striking due to its maroon wrap, but the camping modifications at the rear make it even more striking than before.
The Toyota Hilux itself is powered by a 2.8-liter, turbocharged diesel engine.
Its powertrain produces around 224hp.
This makes it a perfect choice for Prakash Rajโs camping ambitions.
