This Tesla owner has turned his Model S into the ultimate Iron Man fan car.

Images of the car were shared on Reddit after it car was spotted in France at the weekend.

At first glance, it looks like a simple wrap in red, grey, gold, and black, but if you take a closer look, there’s so much more going on.

For starters, another layer of body panels has been added to modify the shape of the car.

In fact, the nose of the car has been totally redesigned.

A huge blue design feature has been crafted into the center of the hood recreating the arc reactor in Iron Man’s armor.

The front bumper is now way more prominent too.

Around the side of the car, the modifications start to get a little bit questionable.

The wheels have been given gold fender flares with purple LED lights.

While they look a bit ‘amateurish’, we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and suggest they probably look better at night.

The rims are also stock and not aligned with the fender, so it all looks a bit amateur.

But we have to say the paintwork on the doors is incredibly detailed, making it look like the car has an armored body suit on.

And just like the front, the back has been totally redesigned.

The first thing you notice are the fake tailpipes that jut out of the bodywork.

In addition to that, the Model S has also been given a lip spoiler.

After the photo was posted to Reddit, users scrambled to share their opinions.

One person said the front of the car now resembled a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire, a resemblance we can definitely see.

“It doesn’t look too bad honestly, even though I don’t like Tesla. The arc reactor looks dope. I don’t like the wheel arches/ fender flairs though,” another said.

“Actually I think it looks pretty cool. But they need to remove the fender flairs. I especially like the hood area. It looks kind of Tron-ish,” one said.

While some loved the Iron Man Tesla, most found it difficult to look past the cracks.

One Redditor said he zoomed in and it looked like the bodywork wasn’t centered.

Others said they struggled to connect it with Iron Man at all.

“When you wanted Iron Man, but got Red Power Ranger instead,” they said.

“Truly horrendous. It’s always the Tesla owners that think ‘more is more’ when modifying the body.”
