Hollywood superstar Jim Carrey has revealed one of his cars “scared the hell out of him”.
The comedian sat down with Supercar Blondie to talk cars and his return as Dr Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog 2.
During the hilarious chat, Carrey said his ultimate ride was a 1969 Thunderbird.

“That kind of cool ride, top-down convertible,” he said.
But the 60-year-old actor prefers a more subdued car as his daily ride.
Carrey owns “a couple of motorcycles” and a Tesla.
“I drive a Tesla and it turns into a submarine in traffic. It has a burrowing drill on the front that I can drill underneath the traffic,” he joked.
“It’s specially made for me.”
The Dumb and Dumber star used to drive a Mercedes McLaren, a car that got him plenty of attention.
“It was a couple of years ago, but it was sick and it scared the hell out of me,” he said.
“Oh my God, I was going sideways like some crazy cat. I got flipped off a lot.”
Jim Carrey returns as Dr Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog 2
While promoting Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Carrey admitted the one thing about reprising his role as Dr Robotnik he didn’t look forward to: the moustache.
“It was extremely annoying. I have a tendency to do that, I have these ideas before I go, ‘No we have to go full-on with the moustache’, it wasn’t big enough as far as I was concerned,” Carrey said.
“You could still see space in the frame, I wanted to fill the frame with it.”
In the second outing for the movie franchise, Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) locks horns once again with Dr Robotnik – who returns with a new partner, Idris Elba’s Knuckles.
They’re on the hunt for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilisations and Sonic, along with sidekick Tails (voiced by Colleen O’Shaughnessey), must stop the evil pair.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is now out in cinemas.
