This YouTuber bought an abandoned semi-trailer and managed to find hidden treasure in the form of rare coins.
He bought three similar trailers at an auction, paying between $300 and $600 apiece.
This trailer was the most expensive one, costing him $600, and is estimated to be around 60 to 70 years old.
It was also supposedly a ‘mystery’ trailer, meaning nobody knew what was inside.

The trailer didn’t impress at first
The YouTuber, Adventures Made From Scratch, did not seem impressed at first.
After all, he has a lot of experience digging for treasure inside junkyards, making his expectations rather high.
He opened the trailer door to be greeted by a pair of ragged shoes, a used tire, and an old mattress, among other lifestyle items.

“I don’t know about these guys, but we’re committed now, we’re going to check it out,” said the content creator.
He also found some scrap metal, old heaters, and a barbecue grill.

Hit the jackpot finding rare coins inside
However, he hit the jackpot when he found an envelope stuffed with cash.
Although it didn’t contain stacks of hundred-dollar bills, it did include a single dollar bill from 1935.

Some 1935 notes can potentially be worth more than $500, although it depends on the specific note itself and its condition.
He also found several old and potentially rare coins in the same envelope.

These included a 1979 Liberty dollar and several copper pennies from years ranging from 1943 to 1958.
After the YouTuber did a quick search on the coins’ value, he realised that the 1943 copper penny was especially valuable, but the other coins were no slouches either.
This is because they were all error coins, which significantly increases their rarity.
Depending on their condition, they could be worth $500 apiece.
With luck on his side, he could reap a healthy profit on this $600 gamble.
