There are your run-of-the-mill traffic lights, and then there’s this one in West Hollywood.

An LA driver says it might be the quickest green light on the planet.

He’s so confident, he sets up his phone to prove it.

And the timing he captures is ruthless.

LA’s ‘quickest green light’ at Fuller and Santa Monica

Griff Stark-Ennis posted the clip to Instagram from the driver’s seat at Fuller Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, California, determined to finally capture what he calls ‘the quickest green light in all of the world’.

He explains that every time he leaves Trader Joe’s, he’s ‘gagged’ by how fast it changes.

So this time, he’s ready.

Then it happens.

The light flips green… and almost immediately flips back to red.

It lasts roughly three seconds.

Just long enough for the single car in front of him to clear the intersection while he is forced to stay put.

“We’ve not moved at all,” he says, half-laughing, as the red light settles back in.

Proof secured.

What makes the clip crazier is that this isn’t a one-off.

He makes it clear this has happened over and over again, specifically when leaving Trader Joe’s at that exact intersection.

This wasn’t a spontaneous rant.

It was a mission.

Griff ends the video with a direct plea: “Anyone who works for the city of West Hollywood, we need the light at Fuller and Santa Monica to be elongated.”

It might not officially be the quickest green light in the world.

But for three seconds in West Hollywood, it absolutely feels like it.
