There’s a brand-new Lamborghini, the Huracán Tecnica, and just feast your eyes on it.
The supercar is a rear-wheel-drive V10, meaning you can have some serious sideways fun if you are brave enough to test the limits of the big bull engine.
Automobili Lamborghini launched the Huracán Tecnica today and says it was “developed for pilots seeking driving fun and lifestyle perfection on both road and track”.
There’s a lot to unpack here, let’s start with the fact we love how Lambo calls drivers of their cars “pilots”.
Sitting in the cockpit of this green machine would definitely feel like you’re in a jet, especially when you hammer the accelerator and hit 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds.

And if you can (legally) find a straight enough stretch of tarmac – it will blast to 325km/h.
Staying on the pilot theme, a Boeing 737 takes off at roughly 250km/h.
The iconic Italian brand also describes the supercar as having a “stronger, predatory stance: a powerful, inward-facing front with muscular shoulders meets a lightweight, fully carbon fiber hood”.

The Tecnica takes its naturally-aspirated engine from the track-focused Huracán STO, meaning it’s more of a beast than the Huracán EVO.
“The Tecnica completes the Huracán line-up, sitting perfectly between the RWD and the track-focused STO, flawlessly presenting technology, performance and the Huracán’s V10 aspirated engine in a dramatically evolved design,” Automobili Lamborghini chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said.
The Huracán Tecnica is 6.1 cm longer than the Huracán EVO, but it is the same height and width.
This makes it look lower and broader.
As far as a price, it’s the middle child between the Huracán EVO (which starts from about US$213,000), and the savage Huracán STO (which starts from about $333,000).
So somewhere in between those big numbers is what you’ll need to fork over to make this your new ride.
