One-of-a-kind Lamborghini Revuelto draws inspiration from Sardinia

This is the latest one-off Lamborghini Revuelto, inspired by the Italian island of Sardinia.

Designed by Lamborghini’s ‘Ad Personam’ customization program, the new Revuelto is what Lamborghini calls an ‘Opera Unica’, as in a unique work of art.

And we can see why they would say that.

The car was built on commission but, as per usual, the identity of the owner hasn’t been disclosed.

It could be somebody from Sardinia or somebody who simply loves both Lamborghini and the island.

But that really doesn’t matter, because it doesn’t change the fact this car is quite simply gorgeous, and probably a bit more subtle than the last Revuelto Opera Unica.

Inspired by one of the world’s most gorgeous islands

This one-off draws inspiration from Sardinia, the second-largest island in the Mediterranean after Sicily, which is also part of Italy.

Sardinia is a unique place, with its location, almost equidistant from Italy, the African coast, and France giving Sardinia a unique identity.

The Sardinian language, for example, combines elements of Catalan, Spanish, and Italian with some archaic Latin and Greek expressions thrown in the mix.

And the water around it is blue, definitely blue, which is of course the whole theme of the car.

The bluest Lamborghini Revuelto ever

The island is characterized by the color blue, and that’s where the visual inspiration for the car came from.

This Revuelto uses three different shades of this color, with accents inspired by the seascapes of the island.

Lamborghini calls these three blue hues Tawaret, Cepheus, and Okeanos respectively.

Blue is also found in the interior, with Blue Delphinus upholstery, Blu Amon accents, and contrasting Bianco Leda stitching and piping.

Lambo spent 475 hours hand-crafting his car, 85 of which were devoted to the interior.

A powerful beast

Gorgeous or not, this is a proper Lambo, it was the most powerful Lamborghini ever made when it was unveiled, and, as Supercar Blondie’s Alex Hirschi can confirm – it’s pretty fast.

The Lamborghini Revuelto is powered by a hybrid V12 unit capable of producing 1,016 horsepower, giving it a 0-62 mph time (0-100 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds, and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

And, as you can imagine, it comes to a price tag that gets dangerously close to seven figures once you’ve specced it with all the bells and whistles.
