Lamborghini has revealed the new Temerario Super Trofeo.

The upcoming supercar will succeed the Huracan.

The announcement came at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

And it will officially make its debut worldwide in 2027.

Lamborghini reveals new Squadra Corsa weapon

Not that it needed an excuse, but Lamborghini has just revealed a new epic project.

And it is called the Temerario Super Trofeo.

The manufacturer revealed the new supercar project at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

It did so during the closing weekend of the Lamborghini World Finals.

The brand regularly competes in championships across Asia, Europe, and North America.

Since 2009, Lamborghini has run the successful Squadra Corsa customer racing division.

As part of the Squadra Corsa division, the brand has taken its marquee model and spiced it up even further.

Since 2015, that model has been the incredibly successful Huracan.

But now, the Temerario will become the brand’s sixth supercar to step onto the race track.

Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, discussed the move.

“In 2009 we made the bold decision to launch the Gallardo Super Trofeo,” the CEO said.

“Lamborghini was not born as a racing brand, yet our customers — more than 1300 drivers have competed in Super Trofeo — have constantly asked us for a product designed for the track.”

“With the Temerario Super Trofeo we are taking another decisive step, reaffirming our promise to deliver a pure race car.”

Temerario Super Trofeo is a pure racing machine

Interestingly, we already have quite a bit of info about the firepower the new Temerario Super Trofeo is supplying.

Perhaps the standout headline is that it will be purely ICE-powered.

The end result is a rear-wheel-drive monster.

Its 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 is set to produce 641hp.

Of course, that is a notable decrease from the 789hp it normally produces with its hybrid system.

But it still surpasses the Temerario GT3’s power production of 577hp.

This new Super Trofeo is set to share its gearbox with the GT3 offering.

And that, of course, is the six-speed sequential gearbox.

The new Super Trofeo offering has already been fitted with an uncorked Capristo exhaust system, as well as a trick KW suspension system.

A race-ready, 12-stage traction control system is also expected to provide the grip for the power.

Of course, the new Temerario Super Trofeo won’t be here until 2027, so we’ll have to wait a while to actually see it.

But the supercar brand could potentially produce a rear-wheel-drive version of the new car, in a vein similar to the Huracan STO.

We absolutely cannot wait to see the new Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo hit the track in 2027.
