Lamborghini’s new Urus SUV has some of the biggest brakes ever.
The addition of the new EV’s braking system is not the only impressive feature on offer.
Its new SUV is set to shake up the car scene and is the first step toward the company going hybrid.
Plus, the new and improved exterior is inspired by other Lamborghini supercars.

Lamborghini is no stranger to creating powerful cars.
From the Revuelto to the Huracán, the cars can get places fast.
In fact, the supercar brand recently recruited Manchester City soccer star Ruben Dias as a new partnership centering around the Revuelto.
Plus, it also partnered with Sega to give one of its supercars a Sonic and Knuckles transformation, too – talk about versatility.
The newest SUV from the supercar manufacturer may just knock all the other releases out of the water.
Meet Lamborghini’s Urus SE.

The SUV is the company’s ‘journey toward complete hybridization’ and is the first plug-in hybrid version of the SUV.
“The Urus SE boasts power, speed, unique driving modes, and enhanced dynamics, making it a revolutionary vehicle poised for the future,” explained Lamborghini.
Outside, the super SUV is sporty and revised – this Lamborghini’s floating bonnet and redesigned tail lamp grille were inspired by the fleet’s other impressive supercars.
There are also customization options so gearheads can really make it their own.
“The interior design of the Urus SE embodies Lamborghini’s ‘Feel Like a Pilot’ philosophy, enhancing the interaction between the driver and the vehicle’s digital system,” the brand continued.

Plus, the twin-turbo 4.0 V8 and electric motor under the hood provide the beast with a serious need for speed.
Perhaps the most impressive feature, though, is the brakes,
The company notes that the front and back of the vehicle have carbon ceramic brakes. The front brakes consist of a 17.32-inch diameter and a thickness of 1.57 inches.
The back brakes are slightly smaller in size, with a thickness of 1.26 inches and a diameter of 16.14 inches.

After all, powerful brakes will be needed to control the powerhouse engine that can reach 0-100 KMH in just 3.4 seconds.
The thermal and electric powertrain is said to pump out 800 CV of power, and the exterior shell speaks for itself.
This SUV is set to shape the hybrid future of Lamborghini and give other manufacturers a big run for their money.
