Lewis Hamilton’s watch has stolen the show at Silverstone, his home race in Formula 1, as he wowed the paddock with a casual $1.5 million Richard Mille Ferrari collab, topping off a sequinned Union Jack sleeveless shirt.

It wasn’t the race that Hamilton wanted, however. Despite an improved fourth finish for Ferrari, his 12-year home Grand Prix podium run came to an end.

But off the track, Hamilton was definitely winning.

Decked out in his clothing line +44 for the majority of the weekend, he was spotted casually sporting his iconic Richard Mille Ferrari edition watch worth $1.5million.

Lewis Hamilton’s watch – a $1.5m Richard Mille – steals the show at Silverstone

Formula 1 stars are no strangers to wonderful watches. Some like to spend their wealth on yachts, some like supercars, some like wristwear, but Lewis Hamilton enjoys them all.

As the highest-paid driver of the last two decades, Hamilton has been putting his Ferrari contract to good use away from the car and has been enjoying the riches that come with it.

Most notably, he’s landed a Richard Mille Ferrari edition watch made specifically for him. It’s worth $1.5m, and this year, it made its first Silverstone appearance.

Lewis Hamilton’s watch is the second partnership between Richard Mille and Ferrari. And the carbon model that he wore is one of only 75 made.

It’s currently more expensive than a Ferrari Daytona SP3 and the Monza SP2.

It was also a brave decision from Hamilton to sport the watch. His teammate, Charles Leclerc, once had a Richard Mille snatched off his wrist while posing with fans at a Grand Prix.

Thankfully, Lewis Hamilton’s watch remained on his wrist.

Hamilton’s co-star won the Silverstone crowd

Silverstone is very much about Lewis Hamilton and the other Brits – race winner Lando Norris and George Russell included.

But there were also a number of stars attending the Grand Prix to celebrate the launch of the F1 movie.

Namely, Roscoe.

Alongside the Richard Mille x Ferrari watch, Hamilton’s bulldog Roscoe drew attention away from the likes of Brad Pitt, Jack Whitehall, and Rowan Atkinson.

The vegan bulldog is an icon at Silverstone. Even as his hearing begins to fade at the golden age of 12 years old, Roscoe is still melting hearts.

As for Lewis Hamilton, there are glimpses of Ferrari finally upping its game to give the iconic racer a car suitable for challenging for podiums, and he might soon be popping the champagne again.
