One lucky traveler experienced the delights of the first class suites aboard a $13,980 Singapore Airlines A380 flight.

As you can imagine, it was a seriously luxurious experience from start to finish, and he wasn’t left disappointed.

From his friendly welcome on board to the food served during his flight, everything was top-notch.

This really is how the other half flies.

This Singapore Airlines A380 suite is fitted like a five-star hotel

OK, so flying first class is a seriously exclusive privilege, and one that is way beyond the budget of most ordinary folks – unless you find a once-in-a-lifetime loophole.

Luckily for us, there are a few people who let us peek behind the curtain and see what life is really like in these five-star sky hotels.

Unsurprisingly,  there’s opulence everywhere you look, no expense is spared, and passengers are treated like royalty at every turn.

Liveried staff are there to greet you, seat you, and cater to your every need while you fly.

It’s no wonder that this Singapore Airlines service – and even the chairs that passengers sit in – were voted the best in the world.

However – as you can imagine – this all comes with a sizeable price tag attached to it.

Nearly $14,000, in this case.

A TikTok creator who calls himself the ‘Lounge Guru’ offered us a brief look into his experiences aboard a Singapore Airlines A380, as well as some of the services he received.

When sharing the video, he called it the ‘pinnacle of first class luxury’.

Honestly, it’s hard to disagree.

After being warmly welcomed on board, he was ushered up a staircase to the suites, which are enough to make you forget you’re on an aircraft.

It’s called first class for a good reason

In his post, the Lounge Guru – let’s call him LG – wrote: “It starts with the suite itself, a space so thoughtfully designed it feels more like a private hotel room than an airplane seat. A separate bed. A reclining chair. Storage everywhere.

“You can expect ultimate privacy here.

“This isn’t just flying. This is a statement.”

Strong words – let’s not forget that this guy does this for a living, so he sees a lot of suites.

LG continued: “From the moment I stepped on board, I was surrounded by quiet attention.

“The crew? Flawless. At least two or three team members were always around. I asked for a smoothie. It arrived in seconds.”

All tastes are catered for

Then there’s the food.

Airline food has a bit of a reputation – especially if it’s been left for years – but this is nothing like any of the horror stories you might have heard.

There’s a full on-board menu, and the staff took LG through each dish, explaining it to him so he could make the best choice.

@loungeguru The Pinnacle of First Class Luxury! I finally had the chance to experience the world’s most iconic first class product: Singapore Airlines A380 First Class Suite.. and let me tell you, nothing comes close. This is part one of the journey. It starts with the suite itself, a space so thoughtfully designed it feels more like a private hotel room than an airplane seat. A separate bed. A reclining chair. Storage everywhere. You can expect ultimate privacy here. This isn’t just flying. This is a statement. From the moment I stepped on board, I was surrounded by quiet attention. The crew? Flawless. At least two or three team members were always around. I asked for a smoothie. It arrived in seconds. They didn’t just hand me a menu. They walked me through it, dish by dish, helping me pick my dinner for the night (that’s in part two). The level of personalization was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They even gifted me a luxury skincare amenity kit. And of course, I had to check out the famous bathroom. The one that feels like a five-star spa at 38,000 feet. More on the food, bed, and full service in part two. But for now, just know this: If there’s a First Class throne in the sky, this is it. #SingaporeAirlines #A380FirstClass #FirstClass ♬ original sound – Lounge Guru

He was gifted a luxury amenity kit, a set of expensive free headphones, and even checked out the famous Singapore Airlines bathroom, which he said ‘feels like a five-star spa at 38,000 feet’.

He concluded his post – this was just part one – by simply stating: “If there’s a first class throne in the sky, this is it.”

Wow – we’d better get saving up then, hadn’t we?
