This Bentley sedan just made history near the Arctic Circle at the Drivecenter Arena in northern Sweden.
The car in question managed to tear up the race track and smash the winter lap record in some seriously harsh conditions.
The record time was all down to the careful curation of the drive system from the British carmaker, combined with the vehicle’s clever grip.
Bentley said the event was actually inspired by three major successes from their past, with the sedan paying special homage to one in particular.

This luxury Bentley sedan has impressive features
Bentley is a brand instantly associated with luxury, and the Flying Spur embodies that image through and through.
Powered by an ‘Ultra Performance Hybrid’ powertrain, the twin-turbo four-liter V8 engine and 190 PS electric motor, there is more than one mode for the driver to choose from.

Sport Mode allows a whopping 782 PS and 1,00 Nm of torque, but then in EV mode, 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque is produced, proving versatility.
The winning element, though? Thanks to the combination of the E-Motor and mighty V8 engine, the luxury Bentley sedan is equipped with a range of 515 miles.
However, it may be the ‘sophisticated new setup’ of All-Wheel Steering and Bentley Dynamic Ride that gave the sedan the advantage of the win.
The Flying Spur smashed this winter lap record with ease
Let us set the scene.
100 miles from the Arctic Circle, one icy military base, and one Flying Spur.

The luxury Bentley sedan took on 12 inches of ice and snow at Drivecenter Arena, Sweden, on the 2.05-mile track.
Despite the tricky conditions of the track, the car came equipped with studded 21-inch tires, swapped onto the standard production body of the Flying Spur.
The result? The luxury Bentley sedan set the quickest ever winter lap speed record at 2:58 and lapped with a ‘peak speed’ of 120mph.
The brand itself credited the success to the Flying Spur’s rear wheel steering and variable four-wheel-drive system, but also explained that the winter lap record was inspired by the success of Bentley’s past.
The Ice Speed Records of 2007, 2011, and the hour endurance record in 1986 all spurred the Flying Spur onto success, and the car even had a specification mirroring the Turbo R from the Heritage Collection.
The car had specific finishes to celebrate four decades of the car, which consisted of Brooklands Green paintwork, Linen, Cumbrian Green, and Open Pore Walnut interior.
You can watch the luxury Bentley sedan achieve the winter lap record at the top of the article. Get ready to be amazed.
