Madame Web and Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney is having a blast aboard the Synthesis superyacht, a 242-foot boat.

The 242-foot boat is definitely striking, although – to be fair – having Greek islands in the backdrop certainly helps.

The 27-year-old actress spent a significant amount of cash to charter this massive vessel.

And yet, amazingly, the amount she paid is actually more or less average for the industry.

Sydney Sweeney certainly knows how to pick a yacht

American actress Sydney Sweeney shared several Instagram pictures and reels taken aboard the Synthesis superyacht, a 242-foot (74 meters) vessel built by Amels in the Netherlands.

Launched in 2021, the yacht has room for 12 guests and 19 crew, and it features a beach club, a beauty salon and of course a swimming pool.

The yacht costs around $900,000 per week to charter, which is a pretty penny, even though to be fair it probably won’t bankrupt Sweeney, who’s worth around $40 million at the time of writing.

She reportedly ‘only’ made $750,000 from Madame Web but made nearly four times as much from Anyone But You.

Also, as a side note, the 27-year-old Euphoria star regularly spends some of her cash on cars.

Sweeney has an interesting car collection that mostly consists of American classics.

Believe it or not, $900k a week is more or less average

Synthesis isn’t cheap, but $900,000 per week is actually more or less average when you consider the yacht’s caliber.

Ahpo, a yacht that only has room for two more guests in two more cabins, costs $3+ million a week.

Feadship’s Sophia, another 12-guest vessel, goes for $1.9 million per week.

And that’s before we get to yachts that are significantly larger, like Flying Fox.

Jay-Z used to charter Flying Fox all the time but now the yacht apparently belongs to Abu Dhabi royals, so we don’t know whether it’ll still be available to charter or not.
