The Lamborghini Countach is one of the supercar brand’s best offerings, but one man has found a hidden surprise within the vicinity of the cabin.

The creator showed off the car in all its glory with the shiny white exterior gleaming, hiding the powerful engine beneath the hood.

But in the door trim, a disguised access lever opened a newfound world towards the back of the Lamborghini.

The revelation took some car fans by surprise, and it may just stun you, too.

The Lamborghini Countach: here’s what you need to know

The Lamborghini Countach was first introduced as a concept car in 1971 and hit the production line in 1974.

The production run of the Countach lasted almost two decades, and over the time frame, a whopping 1,999 examples were produced

There wasn’t just one version of the Countach, made, either, with the LP-400, LP-400 S, 5000S, and even the 5000 Quattrovalvole taking to the spotlight.

There was even a version manufactured to celebrate the 25th anniversary in 1988, which was made with carbon fiber elements.

Decades later, after it first rolled off the production line, secrets are still being uncovered, which one gearhead found out firsthand.

Here’s what one car discovered in the Countach cabin

The Lamborghini Countach was shown off by creator Cam Casey, who gave a look at the sophisticated doors.

But, in the door, a secret was hiding.

The creator explained that if you lifted a special lever, a trunk appeared at the rear of the car.

“Did you know that below the wing is a trunk, in the Lamborghini Countach?

“Who put this here and who decided that this thing needed a trunk?” he said.

After viewing it online, other Lamborghini fans couldn’t help but comment on the delightful surprise.

“This car was notorious for being impractical and so uncomfortable for the driver; they could’ve definitely used that extra space,” said one user.

“That latch mechanism looks exactly like the Fiat X1/9 design,” commented another.

“The amount of dirt inside that trunk makes [me] believe that even the dealership selling it has no idea about it as well,” said another.

Did you know this secret?

It certainly took us by surprise.
