The man who converted Elvis Presley’s abandoned jet into an RV took it out on the highway and was left confused by the ensuing chaos.
YouTuber Jimmy Webb, who creates content via ‘Jimmys World’, declared that his plane-turned-RV was hitting the road ‘in the most redneck way possible’.
He was set to travel 1,400 miles from Florida to Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
But as he soon found out, this wasn’t going to be a smooth trip.

From Elvis Presley’s abandoned jet to a RV
This jet used to belong to the King, but it’s been one heck of a journey since then.
Floridian Webb secured it at an auction a couple of years back.
Although he did have some regrets about the expensive purchase, he still persevered in turning this iconic plane into an RV fit for any road trip.

While an FBI investigation did stop the RV from visiting Elvis’ home of Graceland, the RV is still more than ready to take to the road.
Or is it?
In a recent video, Jimmy took it cross-country from Florida up to Wisconsin.
That’s approximately 1,400 miles of road to cover.

Things didn’t get off to a flying start – if you pardon the pun – when there was some trouble getting the air conditioning to start up.
But after some restarts, diagnostics, and extension cords, things were back on track.
It was time to hit the road.
What went wrong on the 1,400-mile road trip
Things seemed to be going smoothly after the initial hiccup.
But as the RV passed through downtown Atlanta, things took a turn for the worse.
Whilst changing lanes, it felt as if something had hit the RV.

When they pulled over, they took a closer look and found a small dent in the side.
“We’ll wait for a few minutes and see if [the other driver] shows up,” Jimmy concluded.
“If not, I guess it wasn’t that big of a deal.”
The other driver never showed up, leaving Jimmy and his crew baffled.
Fortunately, the damage was nothing too substantial, and nobody was hurt, bad road etiquette aside.
Just think, there’s someone out there who isn’t aware they put a dent in Elvis Presley’s jet.
How bizarre.
Maybe people will treat Buzz Aldrin’s private jet with more reverence.
