The motor in question is a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan.
He says it’s the best money he’s spent
It usually starts at $23,890 and has a 6-Speed Automatic 62TE transmission and a three-year basic warranty.
@acura_mdx_2002 shared his crafty car find on TikTok and said: ‘I chose no car payment… $1,500’.
He captioned the video saying: “Best $1500 spent.”
The car is 11 years old and has had quite a wild ride during that time.
He even said: “I put 40k km [25,000 miles] on this in 6 months and I love it.”
It has other good specs too.

He did however, have to solve one issue.
In another video, the motorist said he had to solve a ticking sound coming from inside the engine.
He said: “I got rid of the tick and it sounds like new.”

What do other Dodge owners think?
Online though, there have been mixed reviews about the car.
According to Vehicle History it lasts around 200,000 miles and has some ‘average engine and air conditioning problems.
And, despite it being cheaper than other similar builds on the market, ‘ownership costs get higher as it gets older’.
As a result of some drawbacks, the website rated it just 6/10.
But fear not, as other reviews from owners have sung the praises of the engine and storage space.
It averages a three-star reviews, mainly with owners saying it’s great for families.
One reviewer, Timothy said: “No problems. Very dependable. easy to clean and maintain.
“Always change oil on time, very comfortable sitting seven people easily, great head and leg no problems.”
But, would you take the plunge?
