This man claims to be the owner of a Dodge Charger used in a Quentin Tarantino movie.

The car has been put up for sale on eBay and its Hollywood connections could be a big selling point.

After all, who doesn’t like a car with a bit of star quality?

Movie cars are in high demand and this is no exception.

Which Quentin Tarantino movie was this Dodge Charger in?

When you think of iconic cars from Tarantino movies, you may think of the 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu driven by John Travolta in Pulp Fiction.

Not that Travolta needs a car necessarily, given that he flies his own planes.

The car that’s selling on eBay is from Tarantino’s 2007 film Death Proof.

The film revolves around a stuntman, played by Kurt Russell, who murders people with modified cars that he claims are ‘death proof’.

Starring alongside Russell in the slasher films are actresses such as Rosario Dawson, Rose McGowan and Sydney Poitier.

One of the cars featured in said movie is the 1969 Dodge Charger.

Whilst there’s nothing officially tying the eBay listed car to the flick, they do look very similar.

Both have a roll cage and a similar crash bar down the spine of the interior, as noted by The Drive.

How the seller ended up with the car

According to the listing description, eBay user Fastadler bought the Charger in 2007 when the movie premiered.

Given that it came no title, there’s no way to verify its purported backstory.

It’s going for $49,900.

Whilst its alleged movie connection is cool, nearly $50k is a lot to shell out for a car without an engine, transmission and interior.

But Tarantino’s die-hard fans would surely love to get their hands on this.

If you think it’s worth looking into, you can find out more information over on the eBay page.

This isn’t the first time a rare car has made its way on eBay.

A Star Wars inspired 1974 Corvette made a big splash when it went up for auction.

And who could forget when the Shah of Iran’s Chrysler ended up going for auction?

It really is a universal truth of life – no matter what you want, chances are that you can find it on eBay.
