This man uncovered a reciept for a Boeing 737

The Boeing 737 aircraft was the world’s best-selling aircraft from 2006 until 2019.

The airplane is used by commercial airlines to ferry customers around the world to various destinations.

And, as you’d expect, these aircraft don’t come cheap.

So, exactly how much do airlines fork out for them? One man’s just discovered the price and he’s sharing it with the rest of us.

Reddit user Met76 revealed that he found a reciept of the purchase of a Boeing 737 jet, with an eye-watering figure attached.

“Found a receipt for a Boeing 737 purchase at work today,” he explained.

The reciept boasted three sums and a total that amounted to $8,229,647.80 that had been bought with an AMEX card.

After viewing the reciept online, Boeing fans couldn’t help but comment.

“I swear I was just going for some groceries, but then there was this 737,” joked one user.

“Receipt or it didn’t happen,” said another.

“I’m reading wrong??? I think 8 million for a 737 is goddamn cheap,” said a third.

The Boeing 737

One guy embraced the history of the aircraft and took a flight on the world’s oldest Boeing 737 from the 1970s to see what would happen.

Meanwhile, another aviation fanatic decided to buy an entire Boeing 737 from a salvage yard just to live in it.
