A man has been caught driving on a Legoland driving licence during a police chase across the UK.
The 21-year-old, who led the 35-mile police chase from London to Kent, was found to have been driving on a Legoland licence from the theme park – which suffice to say, is not a legal driving license.
Upon further inspection, the Kent police found cannabis in his car, as well as the toy licence that he received at the children’s theme park in 2003 when he was two years old.
He was driving a grey Audi A1 when under hot pursuit by Kent police, who even had to use a helicopter to track him as he drove at an average speed of 70mph.
Kent Police said they believed the man was trying to escape capture due to the illegal drugs allegedly in his car.
No, the #Legoland driving license was not the reason for the driver’s dangerous driving, the large amount of cannabis was,” Kent Police wrote in a tweet.
The driver has been released on bail until 1 September 2022.
