Man at store in Michigan surprised with chance to make 92 year-old's day with C8 Corvette ride

The Chevrolet C8 Corvette has been a massive success ever since its launch.

It also happens to be the topic of an extremely heartwarming story today.

Because a TikTok user in Michigan has just made a 92-year-old’s day by giving him a ride in one.

Today’s heartwarming car story comes to us from Washington Township, Michigan.

Delino Barash, who goes by barashkid on TikTok, is a proud C8 Corvette owner.

He inherited the eighth-generation Corvette from his late brother, Donavan, who sadly passed last year.

Delino has explained that the story actually starts in a very interesting location.

The TikTok user was at a Michigan mattress store when an elderly woman approached him.

He explains that the woman noticed him pulling up to the store in the Corvette.

During a recent interview, Barash said that the lady asked him if he could do her a favor.

She wondered if he could give her husband a ride in his C8 Corvette.

Barash immediately obliged, as he knew it was what his brother would have done.

After getting into the Corvette, Delino and the man went on a four-mile round trip.

The elderly gentleman couldn’t believe that he was in an actual Corvette.

“As soon as I pulled out, he kept saying, ‘I can’t believe this is real,’ and repeated it over and over,” said Barash.

He then told Barash that it had always been his dream to own a Corvette like his.

At the end of the trip, Barash took the pair back to the store, where the man’s wife was waiting for them.

He was greeted with a massive hug from the woman after they both got out of his Corvette.

And this story ends in an extremely heartwarming manner, too.

The lady insisted on giving Barash gas money, which he absolutely refused to take.

She then pulled out a notebook and asked Barash for his name and number.

“I’m going to take you out for dinner!” the lady then told Delino.
