Man kept his pilot training a secret from friend who's left shocked as he takes control of plane

This man’s pilot training was kept a secret from his friend, and as the plane was taken over, his friend couldn’t believe his eyes.

We all know that learning to fly takes precision, time, and effort, with the ability mastered only by a limited number of people.

With cameras and the owner of the plane in on the prank, the new pilot kept his secret skill certification under wraps and joked that YouTube taught him everything he needed to know.

But, after an initial cruise and landing with his friend in awe, the man revealed all and was met with a wholesome reaction.

When it comes to flying a plane, rigorous pilot training must be undertaken before someone is able to take full control of an aircraft.

One YouTuber creator, ROT8 & AV8 decided to use the known skillset needed to become a pilot to his advantage and trick his friend.

The creator and a friend were sitting in an aircraft, with the owner in on the secret task, but once the plane was taken high up in the atmosphere, all was revealed.

The pilot had spent more than six months getting his private pilot license and kept the certification a secret from lots of people in his life.

So, off the pair flew into the sunset, with the cameras cleverly covered by an ‘insurance purposes ploy’.

The owner played along, too, supposedly telling the pilot that he could start the plane up before he took them up into the air.

“Are you a certified pilot?” the friend jokingly asked, with the actual secret about to unfold as the plane took off, leaving him slightly confused at first.

The friend simply couldn’t believe his eyes as the man took over control of the small aircraft, firstly descending into landing before rising back into the air, at first thinking that the pilot was still winging the whole operation.

“This is unbelievable,” said the pilot’s friend once the newly established pilot’s secret was out in the open, with the pride evident in the small aircraft cabin for all to see.

Being a pilot is no mean feat

From undertaking hours of training to being able to understand controls and safety elements, pilots are skilled individuals.

Many pilots have been captured taking on risky landings, earning even more respect and admiration from aviation fans all over the world.
