Showcasing one of the rarest BMWs in the UK, this man explained why the BMW M760Li xDrive made him one of 38 people who can be so ‘smug in such luxury’.

BMW cars might be lesser-spotted rarities in the US, but out in Europe, the German brand boasts some of the best-selling cars on the road.

Still, you can get some models that stand out from the crowd.

And, the specially-crafted V12 BMW M760Li xDrive is one of those, with only 21 currently being found on the road.

Why one of the rarest BMWs makes this man ‘smug with luxury’

With a range of luxury sports cars in its fleet, BMW tends to batch-cook its models, rather than crafting bespoke units.

However, the M760Li xDrive is a different story.

Highlighted on YouTube through Resto Revival, the car was limited to press and corporate partners, with only 38 being made.

17 of these are registered as off-road at the moment, with just 21 that still have an active license.

Speaking to Ronnie, one man who owns one of the rarest BMW units in the UK, the duo discussed just how nice the car is.

“It would look equally at home outside like a stately home or, you know, a Monaco restaurant,” he said.

Despite being quite a greedy fuel-drinker, the corporate vehicle exudes class.

“It’s the ultimate smug,” he added.

Also awestruck, Resto Revival added, “This is just incredible, isn’t it? Even the fact that the screens tilt… I feel like I’m actually in a spaceship.”

Key Features: BMW M760Li xDrive (V12)

Powertrain: 6.6L twin-turbo V12 engine producing 602 hp
Top Speed: 155 mph
0–62 mph: 3.7 seconds
Drivetrain: AWD with an 8-speed automatic transmission

The rarest BMW models in existence

The V12-powered M760Li xDrive isn’t the only limited-production car that the brand has ever made.

In fact, there are a few rarer cars that have found themselves in more remote places than the UK.

One being the M3 GTR. While it was popularized through Need For Speed: Most Wanted, only ten units were ever made.

Even rarer is the lesser-spotted M353i, which camouflaged into the safari alongside the cheetahs. Only seven were produced, and they were native to South Africa.

While it might not have the specific one-off ranges like Aston Martin, the wide, limited reach into the US makes many more models a rarity on American soil.

Still, this BMW M760Li xDrive is quite a find, and with only 20 others still hitting the tarmac, the owner really can be smug about owning one of the rarest BMWs.
