A man out on the water in a ‘floating supercar’ was pulled over by the police who were keen to know one thing.

The aptly named JetCar is a striking-looking vehicle that answers the question: ‘What would you get if you crossed a jetski with a Chevy Corvette?’

Seeing the JetCar in action on the water is pretty surreal because it really does look as though it’s ‘driving’ along the surface.

The unusual watercraft is made by JetCar USA, who make several models – all designed on high-end cars.

The slick-looking watercraft caught the attention of police

This isn’t the first supercar/watercraft creation we’ve seen – a company in Spain offers this modified jetski that looks almost exactly like a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster.

And in the US the Lucerne Electric Jet Craft has been made to resemble the sort of vehicle you’d see blasting around a race track.

Meanwhile, this one, which we shall dub the ‘Corvetteski’ – was taken out for a spin by Jordan, from the Jiggin’ with Jordan YouTube channel.

He also hoped he’d be able to catch himself some fish and took out a couple of spears.

However, what he ended up catching was the attention of local law enforcement.

While whizzing along the water, Jordan noticed that the aquatic supercar had been spotted by a police helicopter, which followed a short distance.

Cops had one unusual question for him

Jordan was then approached by some cops on a boat who pointed out that he was ‘driving a car without a license plate’.

But after he handed over some documentation they decided to let him go without too much fuss – albeit after asking one rather unusual question.

“Out of everything, he asked me if I had a whistle onboard,” Jordan explained to his pal.

Jordan didn’t reveal if the watercraft came complete with a whistle, but it can be fitted with a whole host of optional extras including a Bluetooth sound system, GPS tracking system, and LED lights for the interiors.

The ‘JetCars’ come equipped with Yamaha or SeeDoo Marine engines, and can produce up to 325 horsepower, depending on the model you go for.
