A man spent 350 days handcrafting a Lamborghini Revuelto supercar instead of buying one for himself.

YouTuber NHET TV is famous for creating his own versions of supercars and various other luxury automobiles, but this could be his most impressive build so far.

Everything for this Lamborghini is made from scratch, and at the end of the process, we have quite a convincing-looking example of the Italian supercar.

The body is a completely custom-built affair, while the YouTuber and his team have mated it to the chassis of an existing car that cost just over $300.

Building a custom Lamborghini Revuelto is not an easy task

Building a fully custom Lamborghini supercar was not going to be easy.

As the video unfolds, we get an idea of the scope of the challenge the team had set itself.

The body itself looks to be formed out of a clay mixture, and it was built around a wire mesh.

The car was also strengthened, allowing it to be used while on the move.

As the video goes on, we can see just how accurately they got the shape of the Lamborghini.

For a homemade car, it was surprising how accurate it was to the Revuelto.

The biggest challenge, though, was mating it to the existing chassis.

What good is a replica performance car if you can’t actually drive it!

As the process went on, the team behind it sanded the bodywork down to allow it to be painted.

Color is, of course, important for many when it comes to a supercar.

The guys building the car chose a very satisfying color for their replica.

Finished in light green, it looked superb, and it allowed the Revuelto to really stand out.

Towards the end of the video, we get to see the car on the move for the first time.

That alone is an impressive sight to behold.

Perhaps more impressive is the fully custom interior designed for the car.

While it’s not quite Lamborghini standards, it still looks superb when added to the Revuelto.

So if you don’t want to spend $2 million on a supercar, just build one yourself!
