Former Audi RS5 owner crosses the divide to BMW

A former Audi RS5 owner is getting some serious flak for crossing the German divide.

The divide in question, of course, is making the switch from Audi to BMW.

TikToker Rag is the man at the epicenter of this German car storm.

In a video that has already garnered over 607,000 views, he explains how he swapped his RS5 for a 2025 BMW M3.

“I’m officially a Beamer boy now. What’s worse, I’ve bought the car I’ve been talking down on for the past three years,” Rag explains. 

It might sound like an exaggeration, but Rag’s decision has left his audience in shambles.

“Bro single-handedly taught me everything I needed to know about my RS5. This one stings,” one person shared. 

“I have been following this account because of the Audi,” another added. 

How impressed is Rag with his 2025 BMW M3?

So, having made the controversial switch from Audi RS5 to the 2025 BMW M3, would Rag ever go back to Audi?

Given the nature of his content, Rag took tremendous pride in the ownership of his Audi RS5.

But his previous Audi loyalty is not preventing him from enjoying his new BMW M3.

“Every time I drive this car more, I like it more day by day.”

“It makes me realize how far BMW is compared to everyone else in performance, speed, tunability, cooling, and tracking. It’s just better in this car,” Rag explained to his followers.

In case you’re wondering, this sense of realization isn’t just new-car hype from Rag.

The TikToker did a review of his car one month in – and the feeling had only gotten stronger.

 “It’s been about a month since I’ve switched from Audi to BMW. Not going to lie, I’m a little mind blown here. I’m a pretty objective person, and I didn’t realize how well these guys do everything,” he confesses.  

It is a fascinating situation for Rag to find himself in – because he is unsure if he will ever go back.

During a recent interview, Rag had this to say.

“I’m not entirely sure anymore. My initial plan was to return to Audi, but I’ve been genuinely impressed with BMW.”

I appreciate high-performance luxury German cars, and currently, I don’t believe any other brand can match the BMW M3 within its price bracket.”
