Mansory unveils its $5M Bugatti Centuria which elevates the Chiron to a whole new and 'unique' level as the 'ultimate super sportscar'

Mansory has shown off the $5 million Bugatti Centuria, which it says elevates the Bugatti Chiron supercar to a new and ‘unique’ level not seen before on any other sports car.
The German tuning house isn’t famous for being subtle, and its latest creation is certainly living up to that.
Mansory has even called it the ‘Chiron 2.0’ such are the changes it has given the Bugatti, including, of course, its new name.
While the tuners other creations are also wild, we think that this is one of the most extreme so far.
Mansory has totally reworked the Bugatti’s interior
One of the biggest changes to the Bugatti Chiron as it becomes the Centuria is the interior.
The company said the interior is ‘unsurpassably luxurious yet functional’, combining individual taste and modern technology.
The finest leather has been used throughout the cabin, and that is clear to see from the images the company has provided.
Carbon fiber accents dotted around provide a nice complement to the leather used throughout the interior.
It is, however, on the outside where the changes to the supercar are more noticeable.
These are what Mansory is most proud of and what it feels elevates the Bugatti Chiron the most.
How Mansory altered the Chiron’s exterior
The German tuner states that the front of the supercar has had a ‘comprehensive’ facelift.
Judging by the images, that would be an accurate description of the car.
The facelift includes modified mudguards, as well as a new front apron.
Both of these have been adorned with carbon fiber, helping to keep the weight as low as possible.
Moving across the car, we can see the newly redeveloped side skirts.
These are certainly more prominent than the ones you would find on the standard Chiron.
The changes bulk up the Chiron’s appearance
The Centuria also boasts bigger air inlets on each side of the car, while the front air intake adds extra aggression.
Mansory has also taken the time to rework the rear wing and diffuser on the Bugatti.
The diffuser is possibly the most impressive part of the whole build.
It is by far more aggressive than the one on the standard car, and should keep the car planted on the tarmac.
For extra downforce, there is the new carbon fiber rear wing, which also has a slot gap to reduce drag in a straight line.
In fact, the company states nearly every bodywork component is made from the lightweight material.
Has Mansory increased the power of the Bugatti?
The tuning house doesn’t always increase the power of the cars it modifies.
In fact, it likes to keep most of its attention on the cosmetics and the interior designs of what it creates.
But with the Centuria, it states on its website that it is happy to work with customers to push the W16 engine to the limit.
As standard, the Chiron comes with an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine under the hood.
This makes 1,478hp in the base model, which rises to 1,578hp in the Super Sport 300+ and Super Sport.
Even if Mansory doesn’t increase the power, that is a lot for anyone to handle.
