YouTuber Mat Armstrong is known for restoring iconic cars, and he recently bought a Rolls-Royce that belonged to the Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.

The football star was involved in a collision with the luxury car, but thankfully, no one was hurt.

After that, the car was up for sale, from where Mat Armstrong purchased it for a much lower price of £184,000 – and that’s how the whole story started.

It’s been running ever since – and now the footballer has had his own say.

Armstrong updated his subscribers about the car and its restoration on his YouTube channel, where the video caught the attention of Marcus Rashford.

Interestingly, the football icon decided to lend a helping hand to the YouTuber.

His team reached out to Armstrong and offered him several spare parts from the car, including a key, tracker info, and other items to assist with the restoration.

Rashford’s team also provided Mansory accessories like a grill, mats, and a car cover, which made the rebuild smoother for Armstrong and helped him to bring the car back to its glory days.

Although the man behind Mansory – Kourosh Mansory – wasn’t so sure about that when he say the handiwork.

A beautiful collaboration between the two big names

Given the extent of the damage, rebuilding the car was a huge task, but Mat did his best.

However, he’s no expert at this – which caused a bit of a stir when he was asked to take it to the Mansory factory.

In fact, Mansory asked for the car back so that they could uphold their brand image by doing a bit of work.

After his kind help, Armstrong expressed his gratitude to Marcus Rashford, thanking him for saving money and time.

As a return, Armstrong plans to sell tickets for a chance to win a signed part of the car, and the money will go to FareShare, a food charity that Rashford supports.

What else could be a better collaboration between the world of sports and car enthusiasts – bringing two big names together for a good cause?
