Meta’s boss Mark Zuckerberg spent $450 million on three new toys in 2024.
Last year, among other things, Zuckerberg bought two yachts and a plane.
That’s on top of a variety of expensive watches he also bought, not to mention his new wardrobe.
Meta’s boss Mark Zuckerberg has been very wealthy for a long time but, for some reason, he’s only now finally acting like he’s rich

How Mark Zuckerberg spent $450 million in 2024
Last year, Mark Zuckeberg’s yacht, Launchpad, surfaced near Isola d’Elba, a small island in Italy located just a few miles off the cost of Tuscany.
The yacht, which reportedly cost him north of $300 million, also has her own shadow boat, which cost an additional $30 million.
It sounds wild but this is actually common practice.

Most ultra-billionaires have yachts, and those yachts are generally followed by shadow boats, also known as support yachts.
Jeff Bezos’ Koru, for example, doesn’t go anywhere without the accompanying support yacht, Abeona.
Zuckerberg also bought a brand-new Gulfstream jet, which reportedly cost him north of $80 million.
Per Forbes, Mark Zuckerberg is worth $211 billion at the time of writing, and so $450 million is really no big deal to him.
What’s going with Zuckerberg’s image?

In recent times, seemingly out of the blue, Mark Zuckerberg has completely transformed his image.
There are even memes about it, jokingly suggesting Zuckerberg has finally learned how to act like a real human.
But jokes aside, it is absolutely true that Zuckerberg’s public image has changed a lot.
Meta’s boss went from plain t-shirt to elaborate outfits in a matter of months.

Some speculate it all started when Zuckerberg was apparently genuinely impressed by Anant Ambani’s watch.
Since then, Zuckerberg has often been seen wearing expensive watches in the videos he posts on Instagram.
He’s also spending money on stuff he probably wouldn’t have spent money on years ago.
Last year, he had a custom Porsche minivan built for his wife, and he did because Porsche wouldn’t make one for him.
We wouldn’t be shocked to see him wearing Supreme gear and a gold chain in a video while breaking down his multi-million dollar watch collection.
That’d be on-brand for him now.
