Engines and water do not mix
It’s no secret that engines don’t mix well with water, but this knowledge has failed to prevent a few unfortunate situations from unfolding.
For example, in Detroit a 100-year-old water main flooded a street and turned the cars into ice cubes.
This Silverado also had to be brought back to life after it became waterlogged and flooded by a lake.
But just wait until you see what happened to this FedEx driver in Massachusetts.
Responsible for delivering packages right across the country, it’s not uncommon for FedEx drivers to land in the news.
But it’s not everyday a FedEx vehicle floats out to sea.
Is it a fish? A shark? No it’s a FedEx
One of the delivery vans got stuck in rising waters while driving across Lieutenant Island Bridge in Cape Cod towards the mainland.
As it turns out, the causeway actually floods twice a day.
But only locals know exactly when it happens and are able to plan their travel around it.
Unfortunately, this driver wasn’t a local.

After the driver’s unfortunate encounter with the beast that is the tide – a rescue mission was launched.
The Wellfleet Fire Department was sent to rescue the car, and a separate boat was deployed to rescue the driver.
Thankfully, according to a local news source, FedEx said the driver had already successfully delivered all his parcels.
