You might not expect a McLaren 570S to be considered a bargain, but that is exactly what this YouTuber wanted to test out.
YouTuber Point of Driving recently got behind the wheel of a 570S to see if it was the worth the money.
With a hefty price tag even as a second-hand supercar, the McLaren 570S isn’t exactly what you would call cheap.
Let’s take a look at what the YouTuber feels about it compared to more modern McLarens and other rival supercars.

What makes the McLaren 570S such a good supercar?
At the heart of the 570S, as the YouTuber said, is a superb engine.
Under the hood, the 570S has a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
This makes 562hp and 443lb-ft of torque, rivalling supercars from rivals such as Ferrari.
The car followed on from the 12C, and it is still seen as one of the company’s best products.
To drive, the YouTuber said it feels great, with a great seating position and an easy-to-use steering wheel.

Plus, the twin-turbocharged V8 makes plenty of power and a great soundtrack.
Another aspect is that the manufacturer didn’t overload the steering wheel with buttons.
Compared to some Ferraris, that is a very big win for the British manufacturer.
McLaren 570S – Point of Driving’s verdict
It’s clear from the video that the driver believed this car was worth every dollar it cost.
The YouTuber and his friend talked about the price of the car in the video.
With prices falling to around $150,000, the 570S is becoming quite appealing to more people.
If your budget doesn’t quite stretch to something brand new, then the McLaren makes sense.
The 570S is also quite civilized, but still has a hint of rawness thanks to the noise and vibrations.
On the highway, the YouTuber puts his foot down, and we can see how fast the car accelerates.
It pulls very quickly, and just under 600hp is more than enough for this McLaren.
Even 10 years after it was first introduced, it’s clear the McLaren 570S is still a truly superb supercar.
