McLaren has just revealed a limited edition Artura Spider for a very special purpose, and only a handful of people will ever get to see it in the metal.

Production is limited to 10 cars, all linked visually to the MCL39 Formula 1 season.

No mechanical changes have been made to the McLaren Artura Spider, with the differences concentrated on design and specification.

The result is a commemorative model that documents a specific moment in McLaren’s racing history.

McLaren Artura Spider gets the MCL39 treatment

The McLaren Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition was announced after McLaren Racing secured its 10th Constructors’ Championship.

McLaren chose the Artura Spider based on its position in the current road car range.

Created by McLaren Special Operations, each McLaren Artura Spider features a hand-painted exterior that references the MCL39 race car.

The finish combines Myan Orange and Onyx Black.

A painted ’10’ motif appears on the bodywork of each Championship Edition car.

The motif includes 10 stars that represent McLaren Racing’s 10th Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship.

Exterior equipment includes the Black Pack and 10-spoke Super Lightweight Dynamo forged alloy wheels finished in gloss black.

It’s been given Myan Orange brake calipers with black McLaren branding.

A sports exhaust with a stealth finisher and a stealth badge pack are fitted as standard on the Championship Edition.

McLaren Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition interior

Inside, the McLaren Artura Spider continues the Championship Edition theme.

The seats feature ’10’ headrest embroidery in McLaren Orange, and a Myan Orange twelve o’clock steering wheel.

Interior materials include Carbon Black Alcantara and Jet Black Nappa leather.

McLaren Vision Orange piping also runs through the cabin.

Each Championship Edition car receives a numbered casement plaque on the center console.

Extended satin carbon fiber sill finishers are signed by McLaren Racing drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

A track record plaque sits in the luggage compartment and lists wins, poles, and fastest laps from the Constructors’ Championship season.

Each buyer also receives a Championship Edition collectors’ item.

What the Championship Edition feels like to live with

The McLaren Artura Spider Championship Edition follows earlier limited runs tied to Formula 1 results.

McLaren has used similar production caps for past milestone cars.

The MCL39 program continues that pattern.

McLaren continues to connect road car releases to racing outcomes.

The Constructors’ Championship provides the reference point for this Championship Edition.

The approach remains focused on restricted numbers and identifiable design features.

The McLaren Artura Spider enters the Championship Edition program after a year that included multiple industry awards.
