Forget all the videos you’ve seen of cars being towed – this Mercedes A-Class got a whole different experience when illegal parking earned it a ride on a forklift.
This video has been doing the rounds on the internet, and reportedly comes out of China.
It was admittedly a short ride, as the Mercedes was being delivered to the tow truck that would take it away.
But it still makes an eye-catching visual – and a striking reminder to obey parking laws.

A towing job with a difference – bring in the forklift for this Mercedes A-Class
If ever there was a genre of video that embodied schadenfreude, or gaining pleasure from another’s misfortune, it would be viral clips of cars being towed.
While nobody likes the idea of their own car being towed away, there is something admittedly amusing about seeing another vehicle get that treatment.

Particularly if said vehicle is parked in an especially egregious way.
And all the better if the owner ends up humiliating themselves, as was the case with this Hyundai Palisade driver.
This clip has been doing the rounds online, originally shared by an appropriately named Instagram page supercar.failz.
It’s not entirely clear what parking violation led to this Mercedes getting subjected to the forklift treatment, but it’s a bewildering sight.
On the forklift’s part, it’s certainly impressive.
But we can’t help but wonder whether or not this maneuver did any damage to the Mercedes’ underside.
There’s a lesson in this story somewhere – just make sure you don’t have to learn a similar one with your car.
There’s nothing worse than finding out your car has been towed
It’s undoubtedly a frustrating experience to have your vehicle towed.
The whole process of going down and paying for your car to be released is a hassle we’d all rather do without.
Obviously, some people can afford it more than others, like this Saudi millionaire and his $330,000 Rolls-Royce.
But it’s an inconvenience, however you slice it – just look what these LA residents went through when the Oscars came to town.
