The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 just got more tempting than ever, with the carmaker slashing a jaw-dropping $50,000 off the price.

Yes, you read that right: it’s $50,000 cheaper, which is about how much you’d pay for a brand new C-Class.

For a vehicle that usually costs $181,500, this represents a 27 percent markdown.

Turns out you can get a good bargain even when you’re shopping for a luxury vehicle.

Biggest discount on a new Mercedes-Benz

According to CarsDirect, Mercedes-Benz nearly doubled the savings this month, up from a $30,000 incentive previously offered.

This is basically the biggest factory-backed discount on any new Mercedes-Benz currently available.

Buyers can take advantage of this massive price drop whether they lease or buy, making it the best deal yet on the electric Maybach flagship.

And while its typical clientele may not spend much time comparison-shopping, it’s hard to ignore a discount this dramatic.

Of course, the Maybach EQS 680 isn’t your run-of-the-mill EV.

In terms of luxury, it can rival brands like Rolls-Royce, with features straight out of a sci-fi movie.

Step inside, and you’re greeted by quilted leather reclining seats with massage and ventilation functions, soft-close doors, and even power sunshades to help maintain that VIP mystique.

The tech-laden cabin features not one, not two, but three OLED displays, as part of Mercedes’ MBUX Hyperscreen setup.

There is also ambient lighting in a kaleidoscope of 64 colors.

Best deal on a luxury SUV you’re going to get

Underneath the glitz, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 still packs a mean punch.

A dual-motor 4MATIC system with torque vectoring sends up to 649 horsepower to whichever wheels need it most, ensuring that the massive SUV glides forward with effortless grace.

The 107 kWh battery delivers around 280 miles of EPA-rated range and supports 200 kW DC fast charging, taking you from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.

Of course, even after the steep discount, it’s nowhere near a ‘bargain car’, given that it’s still north of $130,000.

But if you’ve been eyeing luxury SUVs, this might be your best chance at a good deal.

After all, who doesn’t love a bargain?

And if it’s still out of your price range even with the discount, you can consider this fake Chinese Maybach instead, which is surprisingly good for only $40,000.
