This Minnesota driver has kept their Ford Taurus in showroom condition for 30 years.
With only 2,924 miles on the clock, this 1996 Ford Taurus SHO is basically brand new and it’s going for $22,900 at a dealership.
It’s not just the engine that is holding up nicely, as the interior is also looking spotless.
As you might expect, no accidents have been recorded in this car’s history, so this thing might as well have just rolled off the showroom floor in the 1990s.

This Minnesota driver has kept their Ford Taurus in great shape for 30 years
Cars, much like anything else, can improve with age or they can get worse.
It all depends on how they’re treated.
If a car is left on the beach or in the middle of a field for years, it’s not going to hold up too great.

But with some TLC, a car can stand the test of the time beautifully.
Take this Chevrolet Corvette or this Camaro Z28 as perfect examples of that.
While not as old as the two cars mentioned above, the 1996 Ford Taurus – which went for sale on Unique Classic Cars, a dealership based in Mankato, Minnesota – is still in mint condition.
It’s clear that this car’s owner took good care of the Taurus.
With only 2,924 miles on the clock, it’s not seen much action over the years – certainly a drop in the bucket when compared to this New York City taxi.

On the website, the dealer gushed: “This car is like a time capsule from 1996, shows like a brand new car inside and out!
“Finished in Toreador red with Saddle leather bucket seat interior. Paint is in very nice shape!”
Who needs a time machine to go back to the 90s?
‘Time capsule’ is probably the best way to describe this Taurus SHO.
The interior is just as immaculately kept as the outside, with barely any signs of wear and tear on the seats.
The dashboard is also looking spick and span.

With a clean Carfax, it’s fair to say that this car probably hasn’t seen much time on the road – or the driver is super cautious and diligent.
Going for $22,900, this car sounds like good value for money to us.
