It was a full circle moment for music star JOP as he took his $20 million Ferrari collection back to the neighborhood he grew up in.
Jesús Ortíz Paz is the frontman of Mexican band Fuerza Regida, enjoying accolades ranging from four Billboard Music Awards to 11 Billboard Latin American Music Awards.
With all that success has come a lot of cash, which JOP has been keen to spend on cars.
And now he’s taking his enviable collection back to where it all began.
This isn’t the first time a celebrity has splashed out on an epic car collection
It almost seems part and parcel of a celebrity lifestyle to have a sprawling car collection.
Drake certainly embodies that style of car ownership with his $9 million lineup being the stuff that automotive dreams are made of.
And it’s not just him – Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift are also celebrity A-listers with some seriously impressive garages.
But despite the glitz and the glamor of their current lifestyles, many celebrities come from humble backgrounds.
Backgrounds that aren’t replete with Ferraris and Lamborghinis.
JOP took his Ferrari collection back to his old neighborhood
Fuerza Regida has come a long way from the days of playing parties in San Bernardino.
As one of the biggest Mexican music acts, they’re now breaking boundaries by ‘blending regional Mexican sounds with hip-hop, trap and modern production’.
The group, currently on their ‘This Is Our Dream’ tour paid a visit to the neighborhood where JOP grew up.
And they brought a reported $20 million of Ferraris with them.
Talk about flexing.
These cars are the height of the luxury indulgence, so they contrasted sharply with the working-class neighborhood in which they were now sitting.
But this goes beyond contrasts – it’s a full-circle moment.
JOP could very well have dreamed of a moment like this when he was growing up.
Now he gets to take the fruits of his success back to the streets in which he got started.

Gordon Ramsay: The fiery TV chef certainly has a passion for Ferraris, owning a LaFerrari Aperta, a Monza SP2, and a 812 GTS.

LeBron James: The NBA icon has owned multiple models, including a Ferrari 458 Spider, an F430, and a 599 GTB Fiorano.
Nicolas Cage: Known for owning a Ferrari Enzo alongside several classic V12 models (though he famously sold much of his collection).
Kim Kardashian & Khloé Kardashian: Owning Ferraris is a family affair for these Kardashian sisters – Kim has owned a customized F430, while Khloé owns a 488 Spider.
