Nebraska YouTuber Cleetus McFarland has captured an exhilarating truck drifting session with two Chevrolet cars being scorched around a private strip at a North Carolina airport.
Trucks are meant for grocery deliveries, camping excursions, or recovery trips.
They’re not meant to relive Tokyo Drift.
But that hasn’t stopped this all-American lineup from burning rubber on a private airstrip in one of the most entertaining displays of Chevy power yet.

Despite usually being reserved for legendary racers and incredible supercars, people have been making bigger and better cars that handle like something from NASCAR.
EVs like the Cybertruck have already been put through the paces of truck drifting tests. And even the newer trailers are able to get a donut under the right conditions.
Now, more trucks are getting the American burnout package. YouTuber Cleetus McFarland highlighted two magnificent 10,000RPM Chevrolet beasts in a recent upload.
The Nebraskan traveled to Little Mountain Airport, North Carolina, where a Chevy S10 and Silverado awaited him and the team.

The Chevrolet S10 was packed with a TRD Cup Car motor, extreme steering angle (~74 degrees) seats, custom handbrake, and a six-speed transmission, all partnering to produce over 10,000RPM.
Over on the Silverado, similar enhancements had been made with drifting in mind, and a Whipple supercharger was thrusting power to the wheels.
But once they were unleashed on the private track, their truck origins were hardly recognizable.
Instead of domesticated people carriers, the trucks became real race cars, leaving skid marks and donut tracks all around the airstrip.
They even showcased the burnout quality in an impressive drag race.

McFarland is no stranger to wild and powerful rides, though, having recently ignited a supercharged 2024 Cadillac Escalade V.
But even the power and enjoyment of these Chevys left the Nebraska man with a grin from ear to ear.
This S10 and Silverado duo are clearly seriously impressive.
But others have also dabbled in a bit of truck drifting, like this Russian team who created a mega two-engined supersized Lada capable of ripping tarmac.
If this Chevy truck drifting double-act still isn’t big enough for you, well, others have attempted to do it in a plane…
