A sneak peek of Lamborghini's V10.

This is the first image of the new Lamborghini and it has us hyped.

Sure, it’s a vague and shadowy photograph that only gives you a glimpse at the rear end of the car.

But that’s more than enough to set the internet ablaze when we’re talking about a new Lambo.

And with a V10 badge sitting proudly in the middle of the carbon-fibre engine cover, it’s clear this is going to be something special.

What we know about the Lamborghini V10

Lamborghini is very light on the details but that will all change on April 12, 2022.

At 12pm (CEST) the supercar’s YouTube page will show us what the new V10 looks like.

Set your alarm clocks so you don’t miss out.

The rumours are this V10 supercar will be the Huracan Tecnica, which would likely use the same iconic 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10.

That current engine produces 600Nm of torque at 6,500rpm and has a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission.

The Huracan EVO’s performance is eye-watering with a top speed of 325km/h and a 0-100km/h time of 2.9 seconds.

So the new model will be blisteringly fast if it’s an update on the EVO.

The current line-up from the car manufacturer are the Huracan, the Aventador and the SUV model, the Urus.

The manufacturer also produces a series of one-off and show cars.
