After being given a strict budget of just $20,000 to buy a new SUV, one man couldn’t believe just how good a deal he was able to get.
YouTuber Dadcars went out to buy a massive SUV, ideally with a V8 engine, for his wife, so that she can drive around in it as a daily driver.
That seemed wild, as gas prices have soared recently, but that didn’t deter YouTuber Ben from setting out to get his hands on the car.
With a budget of just $20,000, the YouTuber had a hard task ahead of him.
What new SUV did the YouTuber want to buy for less than $20,000?
A variety of options were explored by the YouTuber for the potential SUV.
A Range Rover Sport was one option, as was a regular Range Rover, and they were tantalizing options.

An interesting option was a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, available at a really good price.
“I have got a number, so I can call them,” the YouTuber’s friend said, upon seeing the Jeep.
A 2011 Porsche Cayenne Turbo was another option, ironically belonging to a subscriber.

While some of the SUVs were slightly over budget, a bit of negotiation could bring that down.
A 2014 Porsche Cayenne also came up, which had some potential minor damage that could have impacted the value.
But of course, only one car could be chosen.

In the end, it was the 2014 Cayenne that won the YouTuber over.
After only a quick inspection, Ben offered the owner $20,000 [£15,000], which the seller accepted on the spot.

“Basically, I had a good sense, you’re a good guy, and it’s a wonderful car,” Ben said to the owner.
Ben made the offer even with other potential cars still on the market.
It had less than 100,000 miles on the clock and had clearly been maintained in great condition.
“I am so made up with this, and my wife is going to love it,” added Ben.
The family did indeed love it, as shown at the end of the video, proving Ben had made the right decision.
Like those buying a PS4 in 2026, it would appear Ben got an amazing deal with this Porsche Cayenne.
As far as family cars go, you can’t get much cooler than a Porsche SUV.
